2014 SUMMER #2 SOFTBALL LEAGUE TENTATIVE STARTING DATES:
Wednesday South Division – August 20th, 2014
Thursday South Division – August 21st, 2014
Sunday North Division – August 24th, 2014

STARTING TIMES:
6:30pm – 9:15pm (Wednesday/Thursday) & 2pm – 9pm (Sunday)

T-SHIRT PICK-UP & HAPPY HOUR:
Wednesday South Division – Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 at Doc’s Motorworks (1123 S Congress) from 6:00-7:30pm
Thursday South Division – Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at Doc’s Motorworks (1123 S Congress) from 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Sunday North Division – Friday, August 22nd, 2014 at Opal Divine’s Marina (12709 N Mopac Expy) from 6:00-7:30pm

SEASON:
Each team will play 6 regular season games. Play-offs will start the week after the end of the regular season. The number of teams in each league to make the play-offs varies per season.

LOCATION:
Wednesday & Thursday games are played at Southeast Metro Park & the Del Valle Softball Complex (click here for directions)
Sunday games are played at Walnut Creek Metro Park (12138 North Lamar Blvd)

LEAGUE FEES:
$48 for an individual looking to be placed on a team.
$495.00 for a team of up to 12 players and $41.25 for each additional player after 12.
League fee includes all equipment (aside from bats & gloves), umpires, an Austin SSC t-shirt for each participant, as well as food & drink specials at the post game bar.

PAYMENT:
Use the secure link below to register and pay for the upcoming season.

If you are a team captain registering a full team, a $200 down payment is required during registration in order to secure your team’s place in the league.

The remaining amount is due at the pre-season happy hour t-shirt pickup event and can be paid with cash or check.

Special payment requests, including paying your balance online or with a company check, can be submitted on our Help Page using our Player Services Form.

FORMAT:
Two divisions – social (for players with softball skills) and super social (for players with limited softball skills). One division will be used if a sufficient number of teams is not signed up for both. 10 players on the field at a time, at least 4 of them must be women. Each team must provide their own bats (ASA certified) & gloves. (Click here for full rules)

NOTE FOR INDIVIDUALS:
If you are signing up with a small group of friends and want to be kept on the same team (if you do not have enough to form your own team), there is a line on the registration form for “teammate requests”. Just list all names on that line, and you will be kept together.
