Lets Dance

Teams crowded into the South Austin Rec for what was to be an exciting night of dodgeball. Teams Redeem Team, So What??? So Lets Dance, Third Base, and Balltulism cruised through the first round of the playoffs and marched into the second round with high expectations.

So What??? So Lets Dance faced off against an aggressive Redeem Team. The match was extremely close and the teams were tied 3-3 going into the 7th game before So What??? So Lets Dance emerged victorious.

In round 2, Third Base played an excellent Balltulism team who they had lost to earlier in the season. This time things were different, as a determined Third Base team took a surprising 4-1 victory over their opponent.

As the championship game rolled around, two teams had distanced themselves from the field. Third Base and So What??? So Lets Dance played particularly well throughout the playoffs and both deserved a spot in the finals. The two teams battled it out for the Austin SSC dodgeball championship as spectators crowded the sidelines. So What??? So Lets Dance played flawlessly throughout the match, winning a tantalizing three-minute one-on-one matchup, and swept the match 5-0.

Congratulations to our champions!! For those of you who are eager to get back on the courts, the next season starts July 28th and registration will open June 29th. Hurry and get your teams together!
