Sorry, We re Not Sorry!

After starting off a little slow this season, dropping two of their first three games, Sorry About Your Face finished strong rattling off three straight wins to grab the #4 seed in the playoffs. This team has a strong core of players returning from last season, their only problem, only one of those players is female. Having shown up many weeks without a female sub leaves them always down a player on the field. While she is like the energizer bunny, going and going for 40 minutes, it will be very difficult to take home the hardware playing 4 on 3.
Their first game of the night will be against Pink Bubblies, who narrowly lost their last game to Abeergut by blowing a 4 point lead in the second half and falling 12-11 to the eventual #3 seed. Bubblies just slid in with 3-3 record. With all their losses coming at the hands of the top three seeds, you can expect they have something to prove. If they can turn some of their great defensive plays into some offense, don't be surprised if they are the ones holding the trophy at the end of the night.
With the undefeated newcomers, Staff Infection and the defending champions, Just Tha Tip, being on opposite sides of the bracket, and only a last second goal separating them, these two teams eagerly hope for a rematch. It should turn out to be a great night of playoff soccer. There can only be one team that walks away with the $50 bar tab, but everyone is invited to Third Base in the Southpark Meadows shopping center for a full menu open all night to go along with $2 Miller Lite and MGD 64 bottles for SSC players.
