Superbad!

As soon as the ball hit the floor, finding a spot between two defenders who gave a partial effort (you know, one of those "i am not really going to dive for it, but I'll make it look like I reached really far"), Superbad had their first victory. For those in the gym, one would have thought it was either their first win in team history, or the championship game. At a minimum, it was their first win of the season, and reason to be excited. Or maybe they really wanted free wings at Pluckers. In the end, they got both!
Congrats on your first win Superbad. Next up, Poncho Villas. Another victory won't come easy, as they match-up with a team that might be able to knock off a few social teams if they play as well as they did last week. It should be a close match, and is our game of the week!
In social, Ball Sonya is picking up where they left off in the sand season. Winning, and making it look easy. Straight set wins in back to back weeks give reason for Spiked Punch to be concerned.
A reminder that a win equals free food! After a victory, each player receives a card for 5 free wings at Pluckers (22nd & Rio Grande). Just get from one of the official's after each game.
