![]() Sack Deez Balls The Red Rubber Ball Gets Rolling Every team plays this Thursday!! There are no byes this week.Thursday set the stage for yet another exciting season of kickball. Teams crowded the fields, excited to get their games underway as they sought to climb to the top of the league leaderboard. There was no delay in the excitement. Teams battled one another right from the get go, looking to take home an early season victory. The league saw four games end in ties, and numerous other games that came down to the wire. Sack Deez Balls vs. Team America was one such game that ended in dramatic fashion. The score was 4-3 when Sack Deez Balls came up to bat in the bottom of the final inning. They managed to load the bases with two outs before a blooper to right dropped in for a hit, scoring the tying and go-ahead runs. The win was a hard fought and well deserved victory for the team, and they’ll look to keep their momentum going into next week. Schweddy Balls made a smooth transition to the social league after taking home the Austin SSC super social championship last season. They won their opener 9-1 over Gymclassflunkies, proving that they are poised to make a run for another great season. C&C Kickball Factory, who finished last season as our Wednesday champions, pounced on Everyone look at me I’m on a base!! 9-0. C&C seemed to produce runs at will, while their opponents struggled to get base runners. Perhaps Everyone look at me I’m on a base!! should consider changing their name to Dugout Dwellers, as that seems to be where they spent most of their time Thursday night. Remember, Docs is the place to be after the games, win or lose. Join us for $2 Miller Lite and MGD 64 as we kick off the season in style. [ + ] Current Field Conditions
