That's Just Bologne! (Thursdays)

We are nearing the end of the regular season for the Thursday SSC Sand Volleyball leagues and though most of the headline focus has been geared towards the Zilker league, it's time to take a quick peak at what's happening a little farther north in the Thursday Hanover's division.

Sofa King Good (5-0) is taking a much needed break this week after dominating the rest of the division through five weeks. However, the Bologne Ponies (3-1) are quietly licking their chops and hoping to steal the #1 seed away from the Sofa King crew when they square off in the regular season finale next week.

In the meantime, the Bologne Ponies need to handle their business and not get sucked into losing a "trap" game. This week's opponent, the Sand Blasters, is relishing their "spoiler" role and they're chomping at the bit to put the Bologne Ponies to the test.

Will the Sand Blasters blast their way back into the playoff picture or will Thursday's game set up the ultimate showdown for the #1 spot between the Bologne Ponies and Sofa King Good? Stay tuned...
