Let’s get this party started with About To Get Messi vs Pathetico Madrid on pitch number 3.
Madrid took an early lead from a male goal from a nifty chick assist to post up 1-0 in the first half. Messi gave it their all with some handy ball control but couldn’t take a score into the second period. Even after controlling the second half, Madrid couldn’t seem to punch in another goal of their own. Unfortunately, Messi saw the back of the net only once…..but it was into their own net! Madrid took the crazy win at 2-0.
Madrid provided some social adult libations to take the edge off and all was forgotten by the next match!
Pitch 2 saw Social Superstars take on Manchesthair United for a thriller under the lights!
Manchesthair almost never made the field with a couple of late shows but made it in time to play a spectacular game against a more than worthy opponent in the Superstars. The Superstars showed up to play by opening the game with a beautiful female shot to go up 2-0. Manchesthair had two male goals shortly before the half to tie things up before the second half, this time Manchesthair takes the lead with two back to back male goals going up 4-2. Superstars didn’t wait long with a quick goal of their own to close the gap, 4-3. We have a game folks!! The clock is running down and Superstars sees an opening…..takes the shot…..keeper sees the ball slip right through the fingers…..game tied! Even with the clock running out, neither team could put one in for the tiebreak and we end in a 4-4 tie. After all that…..a tie? Really…..a tie?! AAARRRGGGGHHHH!
Oh well…..that will make next week’s matchups that much sweeter!
As usual, happy hour at Craftsman was the place to be after the matches. Whether it’s highlights or lowlights, they are all made better with a few cold ones with friends! Most def!
